Have just ran into the same problem after updating, all my ref labels on cards are now blank in the service, I can see them on the desktop though

I was also able to see them in Desktop, but not in Service. Then i've decided to download the latest PBI version (thinking maybe this would solve the issue) - that's when they disappeared from Desktop too. 

 

Removing the tabular format has made the reference labels show up again.
