Thanks to Idrissshatila  thoughts, the following is an expanded account of the differences he mentions
According to your description, when you change the data source in Power BI aftermeasure does not apply to the shared dataset. First of all, make sure that the MEASURE references the fields in the shared dataset correctly. Sometimes, when you change the data source, the internal identifiers may change even if the name is the same, causing the reference to break. Second, when replacing existing relationships, double-check that these relationships have been configured correctly. Incorrect relationships may cause the measure to not work as expected. Of course, mismatching the data types of functions and references in the measure will also cause the measure to not work.
If, after reviewing these steps, you are still experiencing problems, please provide specific error messages that you have encountered while using measure, as these details will help to more accurately diagnose the problem and provide a more targeted solution.

    Hello Anonymous , thanks your your answer,

     

    I double checked the names of tables/fields/columns in measures that were affected and it don't solve the issue. Same for the relations, it's exactly the same as before.

    My power BI sources data from different ways. I have tables coming from 'normal' import, and 2 tables coming from Shared Data Set (Direct Query). 

    The measures affected are the ones that uses fields from Shared data set combined with 'normal' import data. It seems that the shared data set are not recognized as a 'normal' table.

     

    Table A being a shared data set. 

    Table X being a 'normal' import table

     

    This is the measure that is failing  with this error message ""Table A" name resolution failed. This is not a valid table, function or variable name." - 

    Measure = SUMX(
        BOOST_Ptf_DETAIL,
        IFERROR(
            QUOTIENT(
                MOD(
                    Table A.Qty,
                    RELATED(Table X. Qty per box)
                ),
                RELATED(Table X. Qty per box)
            ),
            0
        )
    )
     
    an alternative way to avoid this error is to import table X in my shared data set, and cerate the measures in the SDS. However, it's not the best way to do because it makes developpement long as i have to create a measure in the SDS file, publish it and refresh my power BI report.
