Responsive ResidentIssue with images on new card visual
Hi,
Several time ago we developed a report wusing the new visual card. On this visual we added trend icons using base64 images
This is how it looks like on Power BI
It worked perfectly but since several weeks ago users sytarted to complain about strange behaviour of icons size on the report published on the service. In fact it looks like from some reason the size of the image is not well managed on the service since several weeks ago, See below how it looks like the same card on a report published on the service
So it looks like something has happened at service level (a bug?) The curious thing is that issue occurs if the image is placed on the left side or on the right side. If ists on the top or the bottom the size is kept
On below sample the image was placed on the top and the size on the service and in PBI Desktop is the same as ex

What is goging wrong? Has someone noticed a similar issue?
Thx., I download latest Power BI Desktop release and I used a fixed size for the image. That solved the issue

Images placed on the left or right get resized incorrectly after publishing, while top/bottom images remain correct. Nothing in the visual settings can fix it because Desktop renders properly and only the Service distorts it. The only current workaround is to place the icon on the top or bottom until Microsoft fixes the issue.

Thx., I download latest Power BI Desktop release and I used a fixed size for the image. That solved the issue
