Issue with bar chart and calculated values

Hi together,

currently I´m facing some issues by creating a PowerBi Dashboard with calculated values in a bar chart.

If I put the calculated values into a bar chart it is not possible to have seperated bars and they stick together. I have tried to created a Table which I can use to create the bar chart like I need it but here it is not possible to filter the values as they are static.

Please find my example file to better understand my problem.

Thanks in advance,

Fabian

Hi @Bese ,
If my understanding is clear and your expected output looks like below snapshot then please follow below steps :

Steps to perform :

  • go to format your visual pane
  • Click on Columns
  • Under layout, increase the space between series as shown below :

Thanks,

Ankita

Dear Ankita,

thanks for your reply. This is how I use it in the current real report but I´m not happy with that solution, thats why I rised the question here. The problem with just adopting the space between series is that there is a lot of unused space in the graf as everything is just put in the middle and it is also not possible to have the labels under the bar.

I still hope there is a different solution for this problem.
