Hello Power BI Community,
I’m encountering an issue while working with Power BI and need some guidance.
Scenario:
I have multiple reports using the same background data but with different tenant names. To streamline the process, I created a .pbip file for the source report and manually updated values such as the dataset name, dataset ID, logical ID, tenant name, and tenant value across files like .pbir, localsetting.json, .platform, and report.json.
After making these changes, I encountered the following error when refreshing the report.
steps i have followed :
1. Manually changed the name and ids Manual
2. tried refreshing the report which triggered the error
Request :
1. What could be causing this error? Is there a solution to this?
2. Are there guideline for renaming the datasets and IDs without breaking a connection?

Hello @_akshat_15 ,
I faced this error before, it was that due to reading from api source with many transformations in power query.
when I removed the transformations in power query it loaded smoothly.
