Issue with OLS Application in PowerBI using Tabular Editor 2 - Need Help
Hello Everyone,
I’m currently facing an issue with the application of Object Level Security (OLS) to a specific dimension (roles for a particular column) in a dataset. My intention was to set up the data visibility such that only the assigned role group has access to the full data, while the other group can view all dimensions except the one where I applied OLS.
This setup worked perfectly when I used Tabular Editor 2. However, when I tried to use the same data in PowerBI, I encountered a problem. The users who are not assigned to view every dimension are unable to view any data at all. Instead of limiting the scope of accessible data, they receive an error message (see screenshot below).
Could anyone provide some insight into why this might be happening and how I can resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
