Issue with New Snowflake Connector in Power BI Desktop (January 2025 Release)
Hi Bon92 ,
Base on your description, it seems like the Table View includes duplicate or overwrite data (even though the row count is correct). It looks like a visualization or metadata refresh issue with the new connector rather than a problem in the underlying query execution. Could you please try the following steps and check if it can return the expected data:
- Download and install the latest version of Power BI Desktop
- Clear the cache and restart Power BI Desktop: How to clear cache of Power BI Desktop
- Refresh the preview view
- Ensure that your connection settings (e.g. any applied filters or query folding differences) are the same as before, as sometimes differences in connection settings between versions might produce odd rendering behavior.
Best Regards
I am afraid, this doesn't solve the issue. I've raised a ticket with Microsoft. Thank you for your support

Unfortunately, Microsoft cannot resolve this as of now, they need to work with Snowflake to fix this
