Issue with Matrix showing duplicate rows

Hi,

Can someone let me know what could be the possible reason for Matrix visual to show duplicate records whereas same data looks ok in a table. Below screenshot of the report. Only difference between the tables is that highlighted values used in Matrix rows causing the duplication... TIA for your help !

Hi, @kumsha1

It's not clear how you get your matrix and how your model is structured. If your data structure is the one provided in your table, then you can't use the default matrix object to get the desired result. But you can use Pivot Column in Power Query to get the final result.

Result:

Please refer to the attachment below for details

Hope this helps.

Hey @kumsha1 ,

you get the duplicate rows because the month are different.

When you remove that column from the matrix, the result should show less values.

If you need any help please let me know.

Hi @selimovd , expected Matrix results are below. Ideally MONTHLY_TARGET_VALUE should show as one row value, not duplicated.

Hey @kumsha1 ,

like this it should also look in Power BI.

Try it in Power BI and then check if you get the result you want.
