Hi,
I have created a dashboard for a user who uses a Mac laptop & he is viewing the report chrome browser where the map visual doesnt seem to load. Is there a solution to this?
Here is a screenshot.
NB: I also understand that there are only 2 ways to view the reports on a mac i.e. install a vairtual machine or view using a web browser. Are there any other alternative for a mac user to view reports on desktop?
Thanks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Instead of installing a virtual machine on the Mac you could connect via RDP to an existing Windows VM and run Power BI Desktop there.
@lbendlin Thanks.
Yes that's one option but I was hoping to know if there are any other ways to view reports on a Mac aside from VM ot RDP?
So far chrome browser seems to be working fine except for maps visual, is there a solution to view maps on chrome or it is best to change the visual?
Does the same report render in a browser for users on Windows machines?
Unfortunately no. Even windows have same issue on browser.
Well, then the original error message is probably accurate. Your tenant admin has disabled this feature.
Do you know how one can enable it?
You do that in the Fabric admin settings.
