Issue with Incremental Refresh : Loading all the data instead of overwriting policy

I have setup incremental refresh. But i don't think it is really working.

My data contains data from 2018 and 2019. My default parameters

RangeStart = 2018-01-01 00:00:00:000

RangeEnd = 2019-12-31 00:00:00:000

My policy :  Store rows in last 1 years and refresh in last 2 months

However, after i publish i still see the data from RangeStart and RangeEnd.

I've seen few blogs that QueryFolding is mandatory for incremental refresh is it true?

My Source is Azure SQL, Query folding is available for first 5 steps and few transformations after that broke the Quey folding? Is this an issue?

Thanks,

Nishanth.

Hi @Anonymous ,

For incremental refresh, the data source must support “query folding” which is supported by most data sources that support SQL databases.

There are the blogs you can reference.

Please create a sample to test again. If it still doesn't work, you could create a ticket to get timely help.

Hi Xue,

Data is still loading from what i have given as the Range Start.

Not sure what am i missing here...

Thanks,

Nishanth.
