Issue with Customize Series for Data Labels

Hi,

 

I am struggling to use the customize series functionality for data labels... I am experiencing this issue with a line chart. Basically, the customize series function automatically resets every time I change something. Please see the attached gif to understand.

 

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Did you by chance copy and paste the visual, and still have the original visual somewhere in your BI file?  If so, it may be driven by the filters selected on the original.  

     

    I suggest deleting the visual and restarting the visual from scratch.

      Hi,

       

      This is the only visual I have in the entire PowerBI. I re-created it to be safe, and the issue still persists.

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    Are you able to show me the fields that you have in the visual?  I just noticed you have a "Fcast" or forecast field.  If it is forecasting future dates, and your current X-Axis is restricted to TODAY() or something of that nature, it could be because of that.


    If you could show the fields on the visual (i.e. X Axis, Y Axis, etc.) that would be great 🙂

    I am not able to reproduce that issue, it works properly in my test. Try uninstall and reinstall the newest power bi desktop version, see if fixes.
