Issue with Custom Impact Bubble Chart in Power BI

Hi Power BI Experts,

I have been using the Custom Impact Bubble Chart visual in Power BI. It was working fine until recently, but today it has stopped working.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If yes, do you know how it can be resolved?
Any guidance or support would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @automation,

Thank you @Ritaf1983 and @Shahid12523 for your response towards the isuue.

Thank you for the update. The support link shows “Page Not Found,” so the Custom Impact Bubble Chart may be discontinued or outdated.

Try re-importing it from AppSource in Power BI Desktop, this can sometimes resolve issues.

If it still fails, consider alternatives like Bubble Chart by MAQ Software, xViz Bubble/Scatter, or the native Scatter Chart. You can also check the visual in both Power BI Desktop and Service, and use Performance Analyzer for errors.

If nothing works then then please consider raising a support ticket for further assistance.

To raise a support ticket for Fabric and Power BI, kindly follow the steps outlined in the following guide:

Thank you.

Hi @automation,

Could you please confirm if the issue has been resolved after raising a support case? If a solution has been found, it would be greatly appreciated if you could share your insights with the community. This would be helpful for other members who may encounter similar issues.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance.

The Custom Impact Bubble Chart may have broken due to a Power BI update or formatting issue. Try these quick fixes:

Re-download the latest version from AppSource
Ensure "Start of Week" is a proper Date field
Test the visual on a blank page with minimal fields
Pad axis ranges using DAX to avoid cutoff
If using Power BI Service, disable browser hardware acceleration

Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried it, but I’m still not able to see anything in the visual.

Hi, could you please share a sample file with limited data so I can review it?

Hi @automation

It’s a bit hard to tell exactly which visual you downloaded, but every visual in the Power BI Marketplace includes a dedicated support link. Assuming your data is fine and regular visuals are working correctly, I recommend checking the support page of that visual to see if there have been any recent changes or updates that could explain the issue.
