Issue with Copilot Setup in Power BI Fabric Capacity

Hi all,

After setting up Fabric capacity and attempting to use Copilot in Power BI, I encountered the following error message:

"Your organization doesn't allow Copilot in this workspace due to the geographic location of its capacity."

The country I used for the setup is the UAE.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any insights on how to resolve this?

Hi @Chelly - Currently, Microsoft has specific regions where certain AI features, including Copilot, are supported.Organizational Settings: There could be specific organizational policies set by your administrator that restrict the use of AI features like Copilot in certain regions.

In the admin portal, navigate to Tenant settings.
Look for settings related to AI features or Copilot and check if there are any restrictions based on geographic locations.

This feature will be released into the following Microsoft Azure geographic areas:

• Germany
• Norway
• Singapore
• Switzerland
• United Arab Emirates
• United States
• Europe
• Asia Pacific
• United Kingdom
