We're having an issue when connecting PowerBI desktop to Azure AD. The problem has gotten progressively worse, but the basics are that when we're logged into Azure AD, and we open Power BI desktop, the applications can take up to 30 minutes to load.
If we disconnect from all networks, and we then open Power BI, there are no loading time issues. When we then have Power BI open and try to connect to Azure AD again, the application freezes. We have worked with support from Microsoft, but we can't seem to get to the root of the issue.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue to this? It's making Power BI unusable in our organization.

Hi @cverster ,
I think you can try to use PowerShell Cmdlets, which are much faster:
Then export the obtained AD information into a .csv file, and finally connect this csv file in powerbi desktop. For detailed steps, please refer to the following blog:
If the problem is still not resolved, please point it out. Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Henry
The issue is not getting user information from AzureAD, but actually logging into my own (or another employee's) account in PowerBI. As soon as we sign-in, then application freezes.
Kind regards
