Issue sorting a Text Column with another column with Whole Number data type for Chart bar visual

Hi - I am trying to sort a text column ('Expected BSD Month') that has values derived from a condition of another column. This column has text if a special condition is met, otherwise it will have date in 'MMM YY' format as text. I have added a calculated column ('Expected BSD Sort Index') as an sort index and set the type as Whole Number. Have used the following DAX to calcuate the index. 

 

 

 

When I try to set the sort field of the Expected BSD Month column to Expected BSD Sort Index, I am throwing the below error. 

 

I have compared both the columns through a table visual to check if there are more than one value of Expected BSD Sort Index to the Expected BSD Month but there are none. I am struck but nowhere to progress this sorting issue. Without this the visual on the reports looks no logical as the Month chart is jumbbled. Can you please advise if there are anything that I am doing wrong?

 

Note - the drill through value in the Expected BSD sort Index (Whole Number) is the value of Expected BSD Month (Test Data)

    Thank you for your response, Jayleny. I have the sample file but cannot find an option to upload the same to this post. I cannot move the file to a Googledrive / Onedrive to get that shared through link as I have the file is my office work laptop that has a restriction. Do we have a any other way to upload the file you wanted?
