I created a very basic PBIX that connects to a SQL server database in my org using windows credentials and has a single table in the data model. I then publish this PBIX to Power BI using the Publish button inside Power BI Desktop (for the first time, it was not already published earlier). If I then go to the Schedule Refresh for this dataset in Power BI, I get a 200 error saying this dataset gets data from sources that currently don't support refresh. I continue to see this error even after 4 hours of letting it sit and going back into the schedule refresh settings. It never switches to allowing me to set up the schedule which I have seen in the past when you first upload the PBIX and if you don't give it time to load before trying to set the schedule.
Then if I simply upload the same exact unmodified PBIX file as a dataset and choose overwrite, the schedule refresh becomes available and it accepts my credentials and allows me to schedule my refresh.
I've had this happen 3 times with 3 different PBIX files in the past 2 days, all connecting to SQL Server but different databases and different tables.
Is this a known issue?
Thanks

My apologies. This is a known issue and a fix is available. It should go away with our deployment next week. Until then, if you ned to schedule data refresh, then please use browser Get Data to upload your pbix file.
