The first thing to do is confirm in the data view what the datatype is currently set to for the fields you need.

If they are text, when you expect numeric, start investigating that.

"when loading, cleaning and transforming the data, I have converted the text type into decimal and whole number accordingly" is this in power query? If so, step through each step and see if the data type changes are being applied.

Tell me how that goes and we'll investigate further

    The data type was converted in the power query editor and when loading it says "number". Anyhow, when trying to use the field as a value, linear visuals and matrix are not recognizing this field as a number. The weirdest thing is that before the refresh it was working just fine. We have checked the steps and we are not getting any errors/issues.
