Issue displaying SQL table data

Hi,

 

I am creating a dashboard and I have numerous graphs based on SQL data and all work fine.

 

I want to add a control that displays text data from another table.  The data is as follows in SQL.

 

 

I essentially want to display the data as is but without the ID column.

 

I thought this would be easy using a matrix or a card but I dont seem to get any data, the controls are just blank.  I have imported the data into the report and can see it under Data tab in Power BI and I can see the Fields in the reports tab .

 

Here is the treeview of the Fields.

 

 

The image below shows the matix I was playing with but as you can see no data is shown.  The card is just blank.

 

Not sure what I am missing, can you help please?

    I maybe on the wrong track here but I think the key using the Matrix visual. This visual requires a value - you will note that the value Power BI selects is 'First - LoggedBy' - this means it returns the value in the first row of that column. That may well be a blank!

     

    If you use a Table visual and ensure that the columns in the Values section are set to "Don't summarize" then you should be able to see all the values. Make sure that the ID column is included because the Table visual will 'summarize' for matching values (if memory serves me right) and therefore you won't see all the values unless you include the ID column.

      I will try what you suggest in your second column.

       

      In regards to your comment on the matrix, as I am testing currently there are no blank rows in the SQL table there is only 1.

        Hi Silentbob ，

        First, please check if there is any slicer or filter applied for report affected the data displaying onto visual. If applied any RLS? Could you please provide the data information on table " Optimiser " under " Data " tab in Power BI Desktop ?
