Anonymous , Localhost means you are having MySQL or windows, to you have created a tunnel between VM and MAc, There is an option to allow passing of a port request to host OS, in VM setup

    Hello amitchandak  thanks for the response, I checked for the settings. I previously had recomended setting just to validate i changed it to host only but still no luck.
