Hi, is there such a visual - not in PBI to my knowledge - but in Marketplace, where you can show a bar with 2 different variables, e.g. units sold, total sales revenue. So, in the visual I showed, I would display 3 bars for 3 different products, and in each bar it would show the # of units sold (for that product) and the total sales revenue (which is based on the # of units sold = # of units sold x price per unit). Second, as you can see, the size of the section for the units sold would be larger or smaller based on the # of units. So, the section showing "3" is smaller/narrower than the one showing "10". Same for sales revenue. This way, in one look, visually, a user can see how 3 different products compare in terms of units sold and sales revenue by just noticing how narrow or wide the sections of the bar are. Hope my question/ask makes sense. Thanks.!
Hi Greg, that looks like it, but I'm not 100% sure yet. I tried with the values I have, and it didn't produce what you have. Is it possible to share your pbix file? Thanks so much.
Sure, below.
I downloaded the file, and when I tried to open it, the "Something went wrong" error popped up. This happened with another pbix file a colleague tried to share with me last week, and until now I haven't figured out what's wrong yet. Do you know? Thanks.
What version of the Desktop are you on? I am on:
I have the February 2020 version. Would that cause the problem?
Updated to April 2020 version. Works now! Thanks!
So like a stacked bar chart?
