I have two tables in my Power BI Report. One table is used to filter the other table. Essentially, it is a drive report on consumption by user.
So a user will click their name on a table and the files associated with them below will update. An issue arises when the user will click on something within the second table (i.e to select the path) which deselects the selection from the table above and then its back to showing everyones files again.
I have played around with the interaction editor and it cannot be done with that. I also have tried different visuals such as filters, but none of them can act as tables.
Is there any external visual from the store where it can act like a filter (so it can remain sticky) and then that means the second table won't affect any options?

@dinosainsburys You can teach your users to hold down the Ctrl key when selecting the second table or you could implement slicers.
