Hi all!
I am curious if anybody has come across a method of determining whether a refresh pulls new data in or not. We have a MySQL database that has trouble sometimes refreshing properly with the data its supposed to be fed. So sometimes we can go days looking at our Power BI report before we realize that the database is "frozen in time" to a few days ago.
I while back I think I came across a SQL way to do this, but I am trying to figure if there is a Power BI or some other way around this.
Thanks!
You can create an index for all rows and create a card/tile that gets the maximum index. Then, create a dashboard with the tile to leverage from alerts. Set up an alert to notify you when that index has changed.
