Is there a way to copy paste a BI file and change just the data but still have the visuals and formulas there?
I have for example one file built for company A and want to have exactly the same for company B - but of course the data differs between them. How do I do that smooth?

Try to save the BI file built for company A as a template file(.pbit). And then, open the .pbit file and connect to the data of company B.
Power BI report templates contain the following information from the report from which they were generated:
What is not included in templates is the report's data.

@Anonymous , change the connection details, using edit connections.
or open the file is data transformation mode. right click on the table open advance editor and change the connection details
