Is there a way to convert duplicate query to reference query?

Made a mistake, but do not want to delete my original duplicate query and create new reference ones in fear of my visuals going haywire...

Hi, @dragonus

You may create a new query which has a reference to the original table and then apply the steps in the duplicate table to the new query. About references in Power Query, please refer to the document .

Best Regards

Allan

@dragonus , You can revert steps done in power query. Check for the step and revert then step by step.

Hi @dragonus

I tried this on one of my reports and it worked.

Go to the Power Query Editor and select the Duplicated query, then click the Advance Editor.

Pay attention for the text in bold here.

let
Source = #"original Query name"
in
Source

This changes the query to reference
