Is there a visual to select a value? Slicer?

Power BI community,

I have created a financial model with Power BI where

I have many filters to select a price of a product, a retailer margin,

product raw material cost, etc..

A problem that I have now is that in the model,

I use many Slicer visuals where you can scroll down a list of

values to select.

However, since a list of values is so long, it takes forever to get to

the value that you want. It is just not user friendly.

Is there a visual that I can use to select a value using a slider? or just typing in a value?

You can try to use 'what if pararmeter' with SELECTEDVALUE function.

I was able to create a parameter using what if as you showed.

With this parameter, I created a parameter to select a FX rate.

Basically, I would like to select a particular FX rate using either a slider or manually type in the number in the box,

and have a measure calculate the converted amount in another currency.

I selected the values as below.

However, if I type in a value 1.00, it always returns a value close to 1.00, but not exact and

calculate the number based on that.

Whenever I type in any value, it does not return the same value.

How can I solve this?
