Hello,
I recall last year it was not possible to share confidential power bi reports to different audiences (e.g. if I share a report page then the user can click through and see all report pages, (I think) if I share as dashboard tiles then the slicers don't show, and if I set up seperate power bi apps with different then I have to rebuild the pbix file / backend each time. I was wondering if there is a solution yet?
As a workaround I was thinking about an Azure datalake? - could I store calculated fields and calculated measures within Azure and then pull the fields and measures into individual power bi apps? (so at least I don't have to duplicate field and measure definitions)
Many thanks for any suggestions,
CM
@CloudMonkey , Subscribe to the email , That should work with RLS ? -https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-subscribe
Thanks for suggestion but I would need users to be using a live report and with slicers rather than a snapshot
Hi @CloudMonkey ,
Try this: Did you know you can now selectively show report pages for specific users in Power BI?
Best regards
Icey
