Is there a solution to repeating x axis in small multiples?

I have abot 200 categories for which I am using small multiples. However, the x axis does to show up in all the visuals, but only at the bottom. Is there really not a solution to this in 2025 besides creating individual visuals?

Hi @MuthalibAbdul,

Could you let us know if you have submitted the idea in the ideas forum, or if the issue has already been resolved?

Thank  you.

Hello,

I have not submitted the idea on the forum but I do believe this one is already posted by someone else. Home Microsoft adds this feature

Hi @MuthalibAbdul,

Thank you for your update. At this time, Power BI small multiples do not allow the x-axis to repeat for each chart, so the behavior you’re experiencing is normal.

Thank you.

Hi @MuthalibAbdul,

Thank you @collinq, for your helpful insights.

Currently, Power BI small multiples do not allow the x-axis to repeat for each individual chart; instead, the x-axis is shown only once at the bottom of each column, which is the intended functionality.

You can find more information in the official documentation here:

Create small multiples in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If this feature is important to your use case, consider submitting or voting for it on the Ideas forum. With enough community support, Microsoft may consider it in a future update:

Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community

Thank you.

Hi @MuthalibAbdul ,

At this time, to the best of my knowledge, this is still the expected behaviour.  You may want to create or find an idea to have this changed.  If you do find or create an idea, please put a link to it here and we can vote as well.

Your choice as a workaround is to add data labels or tooltips, or use a different visual, or as you mentioned, create individual visuals (which would be time consuming).
