Is it possible to import tables from a sql server connection? Desire to use power bi service offline

I have a project that is using tables from dataverse and sql server.  I know my dataverse table source settings are set to import and I want to do the same for my sql server tables that currently have an active connection in order to access the data.

When using the front-end of power bi with the report builder and I hover over a particular table, it tells me the storage mode is Import. When I try to use the app offline the visuals break.

So I go into the back-end of power bi (power query/transform) and open the settings for the source and all it shows is a dialog box for the sql server connection.

Hopefully that makes sense. I'm trying to use the app in an area that may not receive great connection so the tables need to be stored offline aka import.

Hi, @CarlSagan

Power BI supports importing data from SQL Server using Import mode, but please note that Power BI Service is a cloud-based service and does not support offline use.
