Hi Power BI community,
Our application language settting is set to English, but Map visual shows country and city names in Lithuanian. Is it somehow possible to change language in the Map visual (i.e. show countries in a different language)?
I had the same issue and what fixed it was change the language I needed in Language System Settings in Windows. Then, when that language was set in my Taskbar, then in Regional Options of Power BI, the map language finally changed. Maybe this helps someone.

I have tested it on my local environment, the map displayed with English location names if I use a English version of Power BI desktop. And based on my research, currently, it is impossible to switch language of address objects on the map visual.

So this is set to English in Desktop (see below)? If that is the case, that is odd. You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
