@wpf_ not sure what you call the main measure or not but I will create a dependent measure based on the logic, take an example that has a sum of sales, and then we have to calculate YTD/QTD/MTD and now these YTD/QTD/MTD measure can use the base SUM measure. So each YTD/QTD/MTD has its own logic but the base SUM measure is the same for all these 3 measures.
