Is Power BI Mapping being forgotten?

This may not be the right place to post this but, I will start here. I use Power BI mapping extensively, and I use both ArcGIS and Mapbox visuals. I've started to notice that many of the requests for visualisation improvements or bug fixes for Power BI aren't being responded to, which makes me wonder about their commitment to Power BI.

Further, I see announcements for significant updates for mapping feature improvements in Tableau by these companies and still nothing for Power BI. I'm a great admirer of Power BI but, credit where credit is due, Tableau's mapping visuals are far more advanced.

I'm wondering if this will be addressed shortly?

You can come up any new idea about Map and add your comments there to make features coming sooner.
