Is Function 'DATESMTD' supported in DirectQuery mode of Azure SQL Data warehouse?
Hi Everybody,
Is Function 'DATESMTD' supported in DirectQuery mode of Azure SQL Data warehouse in the Power BI Version: 2.56.5023.1021 (March 2018)? Please help!!!!!!!!!

The DATESMTD() is not supported in Direct Query Mode.

However, if you still want to give it a shot, just check on "Allow Unrestricted measures in Direct Query Mode" option in Direct Query Section of the and try using DATESMTD() DAX. It might work (might not as well :) )
