Invalid connection type error when opening downloaded PBIX with live data connection from PBI Servcs

In PBI Services, opened a report.

Used File > Download this file a selected A copy of your report with a live connection to data online (.pbix) > Download

When opening the downloaded PBIX to local machine, it opened with error "Invalid connection type" and trace below. Report was not opened, but a blank PBI Desktop was started (not even showing any visuals).

How to solve?

I'm getting the exact same error. Nothing has changed, but all of a sudden this error appears when I download the PBX with a live data connection. If I download it with the dataset, it works fine.
