Hi everyone,
I have been tasked with creating an interactive site plan for a housing site using bi. I am wanting to add a layer over an image of the site (200 ish plots) which can be colour coded for site status (completed, reserved, available etc...) and potentially hover over for more information such as sales price.
I have tried using the Synoptic panel visual but the performance over 10 entities is terrible.

Does anyone have a suggestion of visuals /ideas I could test?
Synoptic panel is usually good at these things. Are your shapes overly complex?
They're simple rectangles. I would keep getting the error 'System out of memory exception' as soon as I started adding more than 15 (ish) shapes. We have sites around 150-200 so I would need it to be able to pull data and run well on regular laptops for people wanting to access the reports.
Any ideas?
Something else must be happening. Would you be able to provide sanitized sample data?
