Interactive Item on Dashboard
Hi!
I was wondering if we have an option in power BI where I can manually set the status of an item to either Red/Yellow/Green light from a drop down.
For Example :
1. Status of Document - "I want to have a droip down here with 3 Color lights Red/Yello/Green and can choose from"
2. Progress Status - "Same here"
3. Completion Status - "Same Here"
4. Overall Status - "Same Here"
Thanks

Hi Anonymous ,
We can create a color table and three color measure to meet your requirement.
1. Create a color table that contains red, green and yellow.
2. Create three measures and configure each field’s background.
Green measure = var selected_color = SELECTEDVALUE('Table (2)'[Color]) return IF(ISBLANK(selected_color),"Green",IF(selected_color in {"Green"},"Green",BLANK()))Red Measure = var selected_color = SELECTEDVALUE('Table (2)'[Color]) return IF(ISBLANK(selected_color),"Red",IF(selected_color in {"Red"},"Red",BLANK()))Yellow measure = var selected_color = SELECTEDVALUE('Table (2)'[Color]) return IF(ISBLANK(selected_color),"Yellow",IF(selected_color in {"Yellow"},"Yellow",BLANK()))3. At last we can get the result like this,
If it doesn’t meet your requirement, could you please show the exact expected result based on the table that we have shared?
BTW, pbix as attached.

Hi1
Thanks for your answer, unfortunately that wont be applicable in my scenerio, I just want those threee traffic light signals that I ahve in the screen shot provided to activate when any one is clicked and the other two to be deactivated, for example if red is clicked , the green and yellow should be deactivated and so and so forth.

Anonymous , The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
you can create a table using enter data and have slicer on that.
Refer to these steps : https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Slicer-MTD-QTD-YTD-to-filter-dates-using-the-slicer/td-p/500115

Sorry for the confusion. Just to make it in simple. I want to create a Traffic lights against each line item with the ability to select each of the lights . I want the user to be able to select the color of light they want and when they select say Yellow , the Red and green switches off and similarly if they select any other the other two lights switch off.
1. Item 1 Red Green Yellow
2. Item 2 Red Green Yellow
etc etc.....
