Inserting commas into pop-up boxes, flow-map

I would like comma separated values in a pop-up box that shows up when you hover over a line on a flow map.

On the data tab, I clicked on the thousands separator and within the spreadsheet, all the values are comma separated

However, on the report tab, when I hover over a flow line, the values in the pop-up box are not separated.

Is anybody able to help me input commas into values in the pop-up box? Many thanks!

What pop-up box do you mean? Do you mean the tooltip like below?

Could you show me the screenshots to specify your scenario, so that we can help further investigate on it?

I would appreciate it if you share your desired output.

    Best Regards,

      Hi Cherry,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I do mean like the tool tip that your referred to in your post.

On my data tab, I've formatted all of the funding in USD to be comma separated values.

      Data tab

But, on the visual itself. The comma formatted values do not show up in the Tool Tip that pops up when hovering over the lines on the flow map.

Any advice you can give on how to fix this would be much appreciated. Many thanks!

I have this problem also... there does not appear to be a way to control the format of data shown in the tooltip when hovering over the line or the destination...

You can go the the Visualizations tab -> “Detail format”, change “Number format” to “Decimal”, then open the “Comma for thousands”.
