Inserting a calculated field straight into a visualization
I am trying to insert a calculated field/column straight into a matrix. The reasoning for this is that I have built a matrix that contains data from multiple different tables and the tables are not all directly related in the relationship view. As you can see in my picture in the top right, it is pulling from multiple tables. I am trying to get a calculation for (FeeRev + Interchange + Breakage) - (Fee Expense + Total Bank Fees + Uncollectable + Overhead + SMS Fee + Call Center Fee), and wondering if it is possible to add that calculation straight to the end of the matrix in report view. I am having difficulty obtaining that calculation correctly in data view.

Hi Anonymous ,
If the columns are from different tables, Please try to use a measure.
Then create a measure.
measure = ( MAX ( Table[FeeRev] ) + MAX ( table1[Interchange] ) + MAX ( table[Breakage] ) ) - ( MAX ( table[Fee Expense] ) + MAX ( table[Total Bank Fees] ) + MAX ( table[Uncollectable)+ max(table[Overhead] ) + MAX ( table[SMS Fee] ) + MAX ( table[Call Center Fee] ) )How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly
If it does not help, please provide more details with your desired output and pbix file without privacy information (or some sample data) .
Best Regards
