Insert/update dataset from odbc data source

Hi, 

Would like to seek advices for the following: 

1. my odbc data source only contains 2 months of data and i would like to add new data to my powerBI datset periodically. Is there any way i can do it? If yes, can i auto housekeep the old data periodically as well?
2. my odbc data source contains 1 year data, as the data size is very huge and it takes some times to load 1 year data, is there any way i can fetch the data for a particular month only based on user selection?
