I am creating visualizations to insert into MS-Powerpoint and MS-Word.
Copy / Paste doesns't seem to work, and I don't want to do screencaptures or first export a sheet to .pdf and convert. What is the mechanism to get these things into other programs?
(Note, I only need static images - no "live" connection)

Have a look at this link

There is an add-in for office that allows you to intergrate Power BI tiles into office documents.
Screen capture, crop, copy, pasta
I would rather avoid having to screen capture a huge number of visualizations. I stumbled over a possible solution that I cannot yet get working, which is to use the "Power BI Tiles" application found in the Office Store. I install it but Word does not find it.
<sigh>
Close, but still not usable. Hopefullly soon!
