Insert filter from text originally on quotes
Hello,
I am trying to use this filter for specific categories in a column
Count = CALCULATE(
COUNT (Table[column])
, Table[Column] IN {Cat1, Cat2, Cat3}
)
However, the categories in the column are enclosed with quotes and have a “=“ sign like shown below
When I try to insert these names in the IN function, between quotes like IN {“= “N””), PBI doesn’t understand the syntax. Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance
pedroaza , you may use
in {"=""N"""} or foo[col] = "=""N"""

Hi
Is their any specific reasons why you need to keep these "=" signs and double quotes?
It's always bat habbit to keep special sign like these in a string column. A better way would be to transform the strings in power query to only keep the real string.
Transform ="N" to N
The function you would want to use would be Text.Range in PowerQuery
