Insert Text Acts Strange

Sometimes I just want to insert a comment to remember some Power BI Feature so I insert a text box. I am not able to put text in it and can't even delete it. It acts like I want to start a Q&A. The best I can do is to hide it from the View menu. How do I tame this Kritters. Inserting a comment shouldn't be Rocket Science. I know worked four years at NASA.
