Inner Padding Missing from New Format Pane

The inner padding setting for all bar and column chart types is missing in the New Format Pane. Now that you can no longer turn off the New Format Pane, all the inner padding settings are inaccessible. Please restore access.

Okay, I figured it out sort of. I have a continuous x-axis. When I switch to categorical, the spacing section shows. Then I can change the inner padding and switch it back to the continuous x-axis. The spacing section seems like one that should show all the time regardless of the axis type.

i am not able to see inner padding or spacing option, i am using the latest vresion Version: 2.130.930.0 64-bit (June 2024). please advice on how to enable it..

@EricPeabody , I can find that, Column-> Spacing. I am using Oct-2022 version

Well definitely a bug then. No matter which bar or column chart I switch to the inner padding, and in fact the whole spacing section, doesn't show. Here is what I see:
