Index without formula rankx

Hello all,

I would like to add a ranking to a table. It should start from one and calculate +1 until the end of the table. Sorting does not matter. It should always be counted from 1 to the end. If I do this with Rankx(), the creation of the table is extremely slow.
Is there another way to add the index?

Thanks!

No sorry.

I would like to have an extra column in my Visual table, as indicated by the red box. This should count down the rows in the current display, how is this possible. It should start with 1 and then +1 each time.

Hello @Anonymous ,

You could add it in power query, refer to this article for instructions https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/add-index-column
