Independant Network Visualization for Multiple Related Tables

No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the Network Visualization to filter the other visuals within PowerBI;

 

That follows from your data model. The filter direction is going toward the network table, not from it.

 

What made you choose all these different tables? You only need two tables - one with items and weights, and one with relationship pairs.
