Incremental refresh not working > parameters missing

Hello,

I added parameters as explained on the website, i receive and error "you need to set up parameters". Both are formatted as date / time.

Despite the fact that my storage mode is on import, I keep seeing below error for all tables.

All data is coming from google big query. No live connection and using power bi pro.

Some tables are on dual (none which I want to incrementally refresh), no tables are on direct query.

However, below table has been on the mode direct query before and was later changed to import.

Is this something that is not aloud?

What i noticed is that app.powerbi.com parameter is presented in a different format than in power query.

I do not know if this can explain the issue. My locale for import settings are in Dutch. So is model language. Application language in English US.

Hope this further explains my question. Very curious if we can find the answer.

Would really appreciate some help on this one!

I do have some follow up questions if that's okay. Refresh still takes quitte long. Im wondering 2 things.

1. the parameters within BI.com are now not visible. Feels onlogical. Is this correct?

2. I'll update the dashboard multiple times per day. Is it better to shorten the update period to 1 day? Looking for efficiencies.

Thank you both for your early reply, really appriciate it! I implemented RangeEnd and RangeStart in my power query lines, but not in the right way. Classic type mismatch. Your link was really helpfull Nimai!

Hi,

Please try to implement the RangeStart and RangeEnd parameters to the fact table (sales_f_funnel_wa).

Thank you.
