Incremental refresh for desktop

Similar to Incremental Refresh that shortens the refresh duration in Power BI Service, is there a functionality that will allow for refreshing after a certain date and not refresh the historical records before that date when I refresh in Power BI Desktop?

You could create two queiries - one filtered for historical with refresh turned off and one filtered to show the newer dates.
