Incremental refresh- can we get new modified data from archival data

I have question about incrmental refresh old data. I have 5 years data and doing 30 days incremental refresh. if any data is updated 2 years back. Modified data is get in incremental refresh without duplicate data.

It is good practice to occasionally do a full refresh on that data. If you have a lot of data (and risking to hit the 5 hr timeout limit) you can refresh individual partitions via XMLA.
