Hi @NiteshkrNishant ,

Thank you for engaging with the Microsoft Fabric Communit. Thanks to @Akash_Varuna , for sharing the helpful video and blog links with practical solutions.

The SharePoint Folder connector doesn't support query folding, which is crucial for Power BI's incremental refresh to function. Without query folding, filters like date ranges can't be applied to the data source, explaining why incremental refresh isn't working as expected.

As highlighted in the blog and video shared by @Akash_Varuna , there's an effective way to simulate incremental refresh using Power Query and parameters.

  1. Organize your SharePoint folders with a consistent structure, such as by year or month.
  2. Create a custom Power Query function to filter files based on RangeStart and RangeEnd parameters.
  3. Use these parameters in Power Query to load only the required data during each refresh.
  4. Set up incremental refresh policies in Power BI to efficiently handle historical and recent data.

For Additional :

You can also refer to Microsoft’s official documentation to understand how incremental refresh and query folding work in detail.
