Incremental Refresh ignoring Configuration

Hi

 

I'm trying to use "incremental refresh" in Powerbi Desktop, but it seems to be ignoring the incremental configuration.

I've selected to keep last 2 months, and refresh the last 20 days. But when I click "Refresh" I get data from the data that is set between RangeStart and RangeEnd parameter, ignoring the incremental configuration.

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    The incremental refresh only works in the Power BI Service.

      Thanks you're right, it only works with the service.. I hate that.

      Also, it won't work with custom sql.. and won't work with autonumber fields..

      For me, seems to be a bit of useless feature.
