Yes, you should input RangeStart/RangeEnd parameter instead of dates.

My issue is that I can't type the value as RangeStart & RangeEnd...@@
I could only input the dates.

- have you changed the parameters to be DateTime?
And the column on which you are applying the custom filter to also has to be DateTime?Try to change RangeStart and RangeEnd parameters to Date/Time/GMT.
On Custom Filter use the parameter filter, and the select your parameter.
Do not type RangeStart or RangeEnd on the date value.
